One of Elvis' best movie song performances comes in this film, and it's "I Don't Wanna Be Tied". The King is electrifying in this number! I like it better than "Return To Sender", which was the big seller. Elvis shakes and bakes like there's no tomorrow! Next to "C'mon Everybody" from "Viva Las Vegas", I think Elvis does his best movie dancing.
Elvis Presley – Elvis At The Movies. Label: RCA –
Sony/BMG/RCA has released a number of collections of Elvis Presley movie songs over the years. The two that I own are the two-CD compilation, Command Performances: The Essential 60's Masters II, and this double-CD viepelcompsandcorrnisrerilegennorthco.xyzinfoD PERFORMANCES concentrates on The King's s film songs, containing 62 tracks from 26 of the 27 '60s pictures (excluded is Tickle Me, which was a /5(37).
Directed by John Carpenter. With Kurt Russell, Shelley Winters, Bing Russell, Robert Gray. Biographical movie about the famous rock singer Elvis Presley.
C'mon Everybody: 2: Angel: 3: Easy Come, Easy Go: 4: A Whistling Tune: 5: Follow That Dream: 6: King Of The Whole Wide World: 7: I'll Take Love: 8: Today, Tomorrow And Forever: 9: I'm Not The Marrying Kind: This Is Living: bonus tracks Santa Lucia [master new source] If You Think I Don't Need You [take 2] The Lady Loves Me [take 2].
The PICKWICK Elvis compilation LP entitled C'MON EVERYBODY features ten songs from the King's motion pictures. Three of them are in my favorite Elvis film, one set in a South Florida that hadn't yet been overdeveloped and concretized. RANDOM NOTES "I'll Take Love" has a sort-of Latin beat/5(4).
The main problem with the film is the music; there are only two good songs (Viva Las Vegas and C’mon Everybody) and there are too few songs in general. Instead of having the title track played thrice throughout the course of the movie, it would have been nicer to hear Elvis sing some other tunes.
The 'C'mon Everybody' Camden release was never released by Sony on CD. Now the bootleggers step in. The 'classic' will be released in a full color glossy three panel digipack with the original tracks (all taken from the latest brilliant Vic Anesini masters) and five additional bonus tracks and two unreleased versions of songs from the album (both are actually released on the FTD label).
Often it was such fun to be with Elvis in the studiohe showed his amazing, great sense of humor. Box Set Elvis Aron Presley /25 Years.
